Sock Knitting on Two Circulars
Learn to knit socks using 2 circular needles.  Socks are a great project for summer time because they are easy to transport and don't cover your lap while you knit!  This method is fast, easy and fun.
3-part class:  June 23, 30 & July 7

Supplies needed:  2 circular needles according to gauge, preferably 24", Sock yarn of your choice, stitch markers

KNITTING TO THE CLASSICS BOOK CLUB
Ever belong to a book club?  Or want to but don't have the time because you'd rather knit?  Or have you always thought you'd like to read some of those "classics" but never got around to it?  Well here's the book club for you!  Audio books have opened up a whole new opportunity for knitters and "busy handed" people.  Download the book onto your iPod or MP3 and listen to your book while you knit.  We'll be meeting every month on the final Wednesday of each month from 10-12 in the Chelan Falls Hydro park to talk about the latest "classic" novel we've enjoyed each month, while knitting of course!

DEEP SOUTH FIBERS TRUNK SHOW

Deep Fibers Trunk Show on display here at the Woolery for nearly 2 weeks.  Come see the finished knitted garments from designers such as Coco Knits, SKIF, Heirloom Stitches, and many more.  Patterns are available here and many yarns to choose from too, of course!

TWO SOCKS AT A TIME CLASS:
So you've joined the sock knitting frenzy, but loose interest once you've finished your first sock?  Or does your second sock look a little different than the first one?  The answer to this and other sock issues is to knit them both at the same time on a long circular needle.  Start them both together, finish them both at the same time.  Voila' they're identical!  Sally Facer will be teaching us this technique.
3-Part Class:  July 9, 16 & 23

Supplies Needed:  40" circular needle according to gauge, sock yarn, stitch markers

BEGINNING KNITTING, AGES 9-12
It's summer time!  Lots of time on their hands where there should be yarn.  Sign your son or daughter, Grandchild, up for this fun learn to knit 2-part class and they'll be busy knitting all summer long!  So the passion begins!

Supplies:  Light colored, worsted weight yarn, Size #8 needles

BEGINNING KNITTING, AGES 13 - 93
Knitting is a big deal.  So many people are doing it these days.  this beginning class will cover all the basics and get you well on your way to something wonderful and creative wot do with your hands and mind!
